This beloved lighting design is modeled after the original hanging head dragonfly from Tiffany Studios. Diving Blue Dragonflies with glowing jeweled eyes and delicate metal filigree wings circle over hand-cut and copper foiled pieces of Lakeside Blue and Pond Green glass representing rippling water. This lovely shade is created using the famous Meyda Tiffany copperfoil construction and enhanced with a Mahogany Bronze finished cast metal hardware. The fixture is inspired by Dragonflies that inhabit renowned rose gardens in the New York Botanical Garden in Bronx Park; New York City; to the White House in Washington; D.C. It is ideal for placement in hallways and dining areas to create a beautiful design statement.
